If you would like a gratin of chicken, mushrooms, and potatoes on a bed of lettuce, order the Paysanne. Fish fanciers will want to order La Marée, a gratin of mussels and pasta flavored with oregano. The list of daily tartes is long...you could probably go every day for three weeks and never have the same one twice. Desserts stay about the same, so you will always be assured of the lemon or orange tartes, fresh fruit charlotte in the summer, and chestnut cake in the winter.
